MISSION & PURPOSE

While all YMCA's have a mission, they vary in their objectives. A lot of thought goes into creating a mission statement. It reflects who we are and what we believe our role to the community is. The Concord Family YMCA embraces the following mission statement: "to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body."

purpose

The Concord Family YMCA provides a safe environment in which you can strengthen your mind, body, and spirit. We believe in four core values: caring, honesty, responsibility and respect. Our character development emphasizes these values. Red, blue, yellow, and green are the colors of our values. Blue represents HONEST, as in "true blue." Red represents CARING, as in a "red heart." Yellow represents RESPECT as in the "golden rule." Finally, green represents RESPONSIBILITY, as in your environment.
