Gifts of Stocks and Bonds

You may consider giving an appreciated security.

Estate Planning and Bequests

A gift made through your estate is a very thoughtful and often simple vehicle to say “Thank You” in a significant way. Planned gifts can bring donors tax benefits and in some cases income for life. Bequests are made through your Will, either by writing a new Will or adding a Codicil to an existing Will. Bequests can take the form of a specific dollar amount or a percentage of an estate.

Endowment Gift

Endowment gifts are investments in the future of the Concord Family YMCA. Endowments funds are maintained in perpetuity and held for a specific purpose designated by the donor. Only the annual income is used for the specific purpose.

Life Insurance

Name the charity as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. This enables the donor to leave all or a portion of a death benefit to the charity, i.e. the Concord Family YMCA.

Gift Annuities

A Gift Annuity enables you to transfer personal assets to the Concord Family YMCA, which then pays you a fixed annual income that is guaranteed for life. Most Gift Annuities are established with $10,000 or more.

Charitable Remainder Trust

A donor makes an irrevocable gift to establish the Charitable Remainder Trust, which provides the donor with income for life and annual tax benefits. Upon the death of the donor, assets from the trust benefit the charity, i.e. the Concord Family YMCA.

OUR MISSION PROMISE: To strengthen the foundation of community through a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
